Everyone is going through a challenging year because of COVID-19, and another heartbreaking news came yesterday! 2020 became the worst year of Steven Thronson’s family and friends as Steven passed away at the age of only 44. He was the founding member of Kottonmouth Kings, a hip-hop/rap group. Everyone was in shock, but no cause of death has been found out yet. Saint Dog (Steven) was found dead at his friend’s house in Victorville, California. The San Bernardino Sheriff department said that an autopsy would determine the cause of Steven’s death.
His unidentified friend called the authorities when he found Steven struggling to breathe, but he could not be saved. Even though foul play was not suspected, an official statement will only be released after the toxicology and autopsy. His manager stated that Saint was the kind of guy who influenced everyone’s heart he came in contact with. Saint is no longer with us, but he will stay in our hearts, and his music will live on forever.
Suburban Noize Records, his recording home, paid tribute to Stephen. Steven established Kottonmouth Kings in 1996. D-Loc, Daddy X, Lou Dog, and DJ Bobby B were the co-founders. Saint dog left the group after making three songs as he wanted to have a solo career. Steven did well, and his album, Ghetto Guide released in 2004. Kottonmouth Kings released Krown Power in 2015 featuring Saint Dog; after that, he joined the group and landed Kingdom Come in 2018. He still had a lot within him, but his third album, Bozo, became his final album.

We have lost many singers in the last few days. Rapper Korlo Bang’s son also passed away a few days ago, and singer Johny Nash, a pop music star, also left us last week at the age of 80. All the fans, colleagues, and friends have been paying tribute with wet eyes since the news. Suburban Noize Records posted a tribute on Instagram, which said that our brother left us yesterday; he will forever stay in our hearts. Many fans and colleagues have also been paying tribute on Twitter, including Skribbal, he collaborated with Stephen for the album Bozo. Skribbal depicted his sadness and sent his condolences to Saint’s family. He mentioned that the dude had no ego whatsoever.
