Apple recently ordered the production of In With The Devil, a limited series written by James Keene. The series will be based on Keene’s book with the same name, and it will tell the real-life story of Keene behind bars. Keene had been sentenced to life in prison but got offered a second chance. His only duty was to get a confession out of a serial killer.
The story, as described, is about two people stuck in prison, exploring all the sacrifices people go through to seek a second chance in life. No matter the costs, inmates are always willing to go the whole way, as lying in prison isn’t always violets and Roses. With Taron Egerton and Paul Hauser featuring in the thriller is about to be one of the biggest crime dramas.
In With The Devil Season 1 Release Date: When will it be released?
The crime series is being produced in New Orleans, and so far, the showrunners are yet to provide a date for when the series will premiere. There is a talented team being the production of the series, including Richard Plepler, Alexandra Milchan, Scott Lambert, Kary Antholis, and Micheal Roskan. The series will have six episodes, each telling the story of Keene and Larry Hall. Apple TV is the show’s official channel and will update us once the series is done. We hope the series would hit our screens in late 2024.

The series has a studded cast, and featuring in the upcoming show are Taron Egerton and Paul Walter. Taron is critically acclaimed for acting in several shows, and one of his best series is Rocketman, where he played Elton John.
He even won a Golden Globe award last year. He will be playing the James Keene role, and with all of his acclaimed roles in mind, he will nail it. Paul is known for featuring in series like Black Klansman and the famous Cobra Kai. He will be playing Harry Hall, the serial killer. In With The Devil Season 1 Plot: What should we expect?
The story centers on the life of Keene, a police officer’s son, who has a bright future ahead of him. He is a good football player and is nearing his chance to go all pro, but he gets sentenced to ten years in prison just before he actualizes the dream he has always wished for. Adding to the injury is a decade in prison without parole, but soon enough, things work in his favor, and the judge offers him a lifetime opportunity. He is to befriend the famous serial killer convicted for killing a fifteen-year-old and abducting several other women. Since there is a chance for the killer to be released on Appeal, he has to get him to confess, a task that will not be as easy as he thinks.

The show’s trailer has not yet been released but frets not. Since it is based on a book with the same name, the book’s trailer was released two years earlier on YouTube. It tells the in-depth story of the young boy, his parole, and the deal they decided to take.
