There is no specific release date for the upcoming show, and chances are it will not be coming out anytime soon. The series ordered came early this year, and the show is still developing. The series scripts are still being written, and the filming locations have yet to be determined.

NBC has yet to confirm the number of episodes the upcoming series will have, but our guess is that it will be between 6- 10 episodes. If the series filming starts early enough, expect the series to be released either before the year ends or sometime in 2023.

I Can’t Right Now Season 1 Plot: What’s it About?

NBC has yet to provide a synopsis of the plot, but they have hinted that the upcoming series will be loosely based on McMahan’s life. She will play Heather McDaniel, juggling her comedy career and personal relations. She has a sister, a mother, and a boyfriend with whom she must keep close while following her dreams.

The shows could explore whether McDaniel is a pro comedian or just starting in the comedy world. The series could also give the backstory to everybody in the comedian’s life.

The actress has been featured in several other series, including Love Hard, The Trap, Family, Class of Nuke’Em High, and Merry Ex-Mas.

Apart from starring in the show, she will also act as the series executive producer alongside Jen Zaborowski, Dan Levy, Patrick Chu, and Ali Krug. There is no additional cast in the upcoming series, but we hope to cast updates will be provided as the series progresses.
