Bring Me The Horizon recently dropped a new track, “One Day The Only Butterflies Left Will Be In Your Chest As You March Towards Your Death,” from their new EP, POST HUMAN: SURVIVAL HORROR, on October 30.

Post Human: Survival Horror is an aspect of four EP projects. The first record is massive and introduces the band’s early record style.

Releasing “One Day The Only Butterflies Left Will Be In Your Chest As You March Towards Your Death,” with a guest appearance from Amy Lee. It’s a complete contrast from the beat-smattered intensity of “Kingslayer,” its minimalist environment and lovely piano melodies provide the ideal basis for Lee’s gentle vocal delivery.

This song plays up a chilling duet among Oliver Sykes and Evanescence’s Amy Lee, the track’s glacial funeral ceremony delivering nothing more than a bleak peek into the future.

Lee expressed her feelings in an interview with Loudwire that It was an enjoyable release from a little stuck moment that she was in, and it encouraged her. And she added this song is beautiful; it always has a special place in her heart, and as an artist, when she was stuck, another artist came along and helped her.

The release of the nine-track EP has been long-running, as Bring Me the Horizon launched the first solo, “Ludens,” in last year’s November, followed “Parasite Eve” in June, and then released “Obey” starring Yungblud and, now newly track, “Teardrops.”

Kingslayer” sees BMTH plunging head-first in beat-backed electronic music, a reality with which they are not wholly unfamiliar, among the pounding deformity that still keeps characteristics of their roots in extreme metal.
