1.Fort Aguada
Fort Aguada is a well preserved seventh -century Portuguese fort standing in Goa, India on Sinquerim Beach, overlooking the Arabian Sea. It receives a lot of tourist traffic all around the year. Little surprise then that this remains to be the only fort that was not conquered by any invaders during the 450 year long rule of the Portuguese empire.
2. Chapora Fort
Chapora Fort is located in North Goa. It is at a distance of 46 km from Vasco DA Gama Railway Station and 19 km from Panjim Kadamba Bus Stand. Chapora Fort is built in red laterite stones, this fort was constructed by the king of Bijapur, Adi shah and reconstructed by the Portuguese in 1617. There was no particular time to visit chapora fort. However, early morning and evening are preferred by tourist.

Baga Beach is located at a distance of 15 km from Panjim Kadamba Bus stand. It is famous for its delicious seafood and beach shacks that is offered there. This beach is bordered by Anjuna Beach to its north and Calangute Beach to its south. It starts right where Calangute ends. Baga Beach is named after the Baga Creek that merges into the Arabian Sea on the northern part of the beach, this is one of the most popular among Goa beaches.
5. Dudhsagar Waterfalls
Dudhsagar Falls is the largest and highest fall of Goa. It is at a distance of 71 km from Panjim Kadamba Bus Stand and 10 km from Kulem. Dudhsagar waterfalls are one of the most popular tourist place in Goa. Own vehicles are not allowed into the sanctuary to reach this waterfall. You have to take a a forest department or licensed private jeep from the forest entrance (private jeeps are available near Kulem Collem Railway Station). This service is closed during monsoon (June – mid October).
6. Shri Mangeshi Temple
Shri Mangueshi Temple is located in North Goa. At a distance of 37 km from Vasco DA Gama Railway Station, 21 km from Panjim Kadamba Bus Stand and 34 km from Mapusa. Shri Mangeshi Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and it belongs to the typical Goan Hindu temple style of architecture. It is very distinctive with its white towers. The main annual festival called Magha Pournima is held in Febuary.
7. Calangute Beach
Calangute Beach is one of the best tourist Places to visit in Goa in North Goa . At a distance of 14 km from Panjim Kadamba Bus Stand, 41 km from Vasco Da Gama Railway Station and 10 km from Mapusa . Watching the sunrise and sunset at Calangute Beach is a mesmerizing experience. During the months June-September visitors desisted from visiting the place due to rough sea and tides which make it dangerous to swim, but locals believe that Calangute is at its best during the monsoon months.
8. Reis Magos Fort
The Reis Magos Fort is located on the northern bank of the River Mandovi in North Goa. It is located at a distance of 34 km from Vasco DA Gama Railway Station,7 km from Panjim Kadamba Bus Stand, and 15 km from Mapusa. This Fort was constructed using laterite and is located on a hill that can be accessed through a ramp or a narrow staircase. The water supply provided to the Reis Magos Fort from a fresh water spring which is situated within the Fort. The Fort has been well preserved and was defended by 33 guns and a small military troop. Best time to visit this fort is between 10.30 Am to 5.30 Pm all days except Monday.
9. Paliem Lake
Paliem beach is a tiny cove that nestles between Arambol beach to the south and Keri beach to the north. It is well known amongst travellers in Goa for its fresh water lake, and for the ‘cleansing, sulpherous mud’ that can be found around the lake. Swimming in the fresh water lake is an obvious attraction of Paliem. There are a few sunbeds set up by the lake shore, which you often have to pay for, though you might get away with half an hour or so without. Most beautiful views can be enjoyed here.
10. Arossim Beach
Arossim Beach is about 12 km from the main city and the distance from the resort to Dabolim International Airport is about 16 km.To the south from Arossim Beach you can find two world famous beaches of Majorda and Utorda which are stretching alongside the sea coastline. If you are looking for a peaceful place, Arossim beach is a good choice. There is only one beach shack and plenty of empty space around it.
