Oluokun went to John Burroughs College. Basketball was his first passion. But starting in his junior year, he became seriously interested in football. But before engaging in other sports, Oluokun initially played soccer. Foye played wide receiver and defensive end because there were only 26 players on the football team.

He attended Yale’s basketball camp first, then a week later, their football camp. On July 30, 2013, he later committed to the Yale Bulldogs.

During his four years at Yale, he participated in 42 games while compiling 271 tackles, 13.5 tackles for loss, and four interceptions.

During his senior year, Oluokun was named to the second team for the Ivy League.

The Atlanta Falcons later chose Foye Oluokun in the 2018 NFL Draft. In the sixth round, he was selected 200th overall.
