Dangerous Liaisons is a STARZ series that explore the lives of once two loved birds who now possess eternal hate for each other. Based on the 1782 novel, the series premiered on STARZ, and even before its premiere, it had already been renewed for the second season. Dangerous Liaisons Season 2 Release Date:
After a successful first season and an early Season 2 renewal that was later revoked, STARZ cancelled “Dangerous Liaisons”.
Unfortunately, we have yet to determine when the Dangerous Liaisons will return for the second season. The renewal news came before the season one premiere, and, likely, the show’s filming is yet to start. A possible release date at the moment is in 2023 or 2024.
Dangerous Liaisons Season 2 Plot:
The Dangerous Liaisons plot is based on the 1782 film Les Liaisons dangereuses. It revolves around two people who were once madly in love but have developed the strongest hatred for each other. Soon enough, they forget what they once shared and go down a dark road of seeking revenge, even if it means hurting the other partner. It starts as little monkey games, but it only takes time before they develop into full-blown tricks. The series ends with Tristan realizing that he is in love with Celene, and the season two plot could explain what becomes of the two.
Dangerous Liaisons Season 2 Cast:
Leading the Dangerous Liaisons cast is Alice Englert, who plays Camille. The actress has been featured in other series and is famous for playing Rosa in the Ginger & Rosa series; she has also appeared in the Beautiful Creatures shows. She plays alongside Lesley Manville plays, Genevieve de Merteuil, and Carice Van, Jacqueline de Montrachet. Other actors include Paloma Faith, Michael McElhatton, Kosar Ali, Nathaniel Saleh, Fisayo Akinade, Maria Friedman, Claire Higgins, and Hakeem Kae-Kizim. We have yet to receive a lineup for the season 2 series, but we hope all of the cast will return to reprise their roles. We might also get to see new faces in the upcoming series.
Dangerous Liaisons Season 2 Season 1 Review:
According to Decider, Dangerous Liaison is a perfect movie with a good plot that deserves to be streamed by thousands of people. They argue that the series plot has been created so that nobody would imagine it is 230 years old. The characters playing their parts like they were present in medieval times also make it binge-worthy.

A trailer for the second season of the Dangerous Liaisons series is yet to be released, and it will not be coming out anytime soon. The series premiered on the 6th of November this year, and its renewal series just came out the other day. We do not know when the series filming will start, but it will likely kick off in 2023. If production begins in 2023, then expect the series to be released before 2023 ends or early 2024. If you did not watch the series’ first season, you might want to do son STARZ.
