The plot of the upcoming live-action series is yet to be made sure, but the expectation is that it will follow the original plot, either loosely or closely. When the young Avatar Aang realizes that his power comes with many responsibilities, he flees from his hometown only for a storm to sweep him in the ocean. He seeks refuge in an iceberg near the south pole, the exact timeline when Lord Sozin, the ruler of the fire nation, carries out a genocide in the Air Nation in the hopes of killing the Avatar. A century later, Aang is revived by Katara and Sokka. We expect the live-action series to pick up from the conclusion of the original series or its sequel. It could focus on the redemption arc of Azula and the people who will be involved in Azula’s journey.
