The original film followed the 4 friends; Whitney Houston, Angela Bassett (A Black Lady Sketch Show), Lela Rochon, and Loretta Devin. Chances are, however, the 4 casts will not be coming to our screens as the upcoming show is a reboot, and it would be good if it featured fresh faces. However, Lee Daniels has been put in charge of developing the series and will be writing the Forest Whitakers classic. We hope that the series cast will be released before the series debuts.
